Often being near public transportation is one of the benefits of living in an apartment. Many upscale apartments also have connecting bike paths and bike storage. Both options help you to save money on gas while reducing carbon emissions. If neither options are feasible, consider carpooling to split gas costs and save wear and tear on your car.
