1. Environmental Scientist
This job role, which pays a median wage of more than $71,000
per year, will allow you to analyze how humans affect the earth. Your job will
be to pursue solutions to today’s pressing environmental problems, which often
stem from such pollutants and hazards as contaminated water and air supplies.
You’ll also provide your two cents regarding whether certain new developments
pose a serious threat to Mother Earth.
2. Atmospheric Scientist (Meteorologist)
In this role, where the median wage is more than $94,000 per
year, you’ll create tools and forecasts for collecting weather information and
advising people on risks related to it, such as the threat of a hurricane. In
addition, if you’re working for a large company, you may need to do some
climate research, which will require a master’s degree or PhD.
3. Hydrologist
