WHAT:

As the first major global intergovernmental gathering after the Second World Summit for Social Development in Doha, the 64th session of the Commission for Social Development (CSocD64) on 2 to 10 February 2026 will be central to advancing the implementation of the Doha Political Declaration and renewing global commitment to poverty eradication, decent work, and social integration.

Under the theme “Advancing Social Development and Social Justice through Coordinated, Equitable and Inclusive Policies,” this year’s session will feature negotiations, a general debate, five high-level dialogues, a Civil Society Forum, and about 45 side events.
