On 16th December 2018 SDG Advocate Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, Founder and Chairperson of Education Above All Foundation met with the UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and UNICEF Executive Director, Henrietta Fore and discussed Sustainable development Goals progress and ongoing education efforts. Her Highness then attended the insightful lecture by the UN Secretary General.

Secretary-General Guterres discussed the importance of the United Nations as a peace bridge, an honest broker between countries and an organisation to meet the world’s SDG goals. Sheikha Moza’s foundation Education Above All continues to work tirelessly with many partners, including UN organisations, to break down barriers to education. Both the UN and EAA emphasize that education, represented in SDG4, is a vehicle for reaching many other SDGs.
