Until now, the common people, business houses, brands, and freelance artists have crossed through the stages of complete lockdown, partial lockdown, unlock, and re-lockdowns. The government and the medical fraternity are still trying to arrive at a best-case scenario that will help in flattening the virus curve. During this phase, businesses and freelance artists have suffered and couldn’t make as much profits as they expected. Operating online is currently the way to carry out business.

Your clients will know that you are working full-fledged, which will encourage them to contact you for any project at hand.

3. Share the COVID-19 sanitation and safety protocols through interesting visuals

It’s a time where each one of us should wake up to the reality than circles us. The global pandemic is spreading rapidly, and taking caution is crucial. When one person is safe, many others are safe as well. Hence, each person should realize the relevance of social distancing and wearing a mask while in public. You can create a unique and creative visual of the same and share it as a post. Go all creative and make your posteye-catching and informative. To stay accurate in your post, check the data that you’re sharing so that it’s updated. Don’t get too preachy with this post! If you want to state the current rate of infection and survival percentage, research the same, and mention it in the post.

4. Make one COVID-19 related post weekly

The global crisis is lingering, and it doesn’t make anyone feel better. Take time out to research the positive news aspects of the pandemic and curate one post amongst the other brand posts that you share. Instagram has the option of multiple posts in the newsfeed. You could possibly take five or six facts and weave it into a story in that post. State facts and also point a solution that’s approved by a governing body. That way you can offer information and a direction to manage one’s way through the pandemic.

5. Make polls on sanitation protocols

Brands on Instagram can use polls or questions to connect with their audience! Usually, they do it to for enhancing customer engagement and connect with new followers. You can use the same tip and ask a question or make a poll on sanitation protocols. For instance, your questions for the yes/no polling and answers can include:

  • Are you wearing a mask when you are out?
  • Are you using a sanitizer?
  • Have you sanitized your office?
  • Did you sanitize your car?

While these are direct questions, you can also ask questions like, “Surgical masks or disposable masks.” The objective of such a question would be to draw people’s attention to both the mask types and their benefits. That way, they would know when to use each mask and also raise awareness.

6. Create imaginative images

Everyone wants the world to heal from this global pandemic. To promote positive thoughts and feelings amongst your followers and online users, create graphics that show a COVID-19 free world. It will give your followers and others some hope in such testing times. Also, you can test your skills monthly and share them online. If a client sees and likes it, you might get to work on a global pandemic campaign.

Social media and online marketing are the two essential ways to carry out business today! Graphic designers can use the tips mentioned above to stand out as a brand and gain more followers.
