You need to understand that they have just a little time and attention to spare, which means your communication needs to be relevant and succinct. Focus on key points and try to make them stand out, especially if the topic you’re covering in your messages is supposed to raise awareness for the environment. You and your colleagues should definitely consider an option to efficiently share Google contacts, since this is the most popular platform for email exchange.

Maintain regular contact, but don’t spam people

One more thing you should be careful about is the frequency at which you send your emails out. Since marketing emails are great at keeping your business in the mind of your clients, you need to ensure that they are sent out on a regular basis. On the other hand, you need to avoid sending them out too often, since people will much more likely to unsubscribe from your mailing list. If you manage to find the right frequency, your messages, in which you promote green products and services, will achieve their goal.

Integration of socials

No company can hope to achieve success without using all the benefits of social networks. Companies all over the world have realized the potential of this marketing tool as an eco-friendly way of keeping in touch with both current and prospective clients. That’s why your socials need to be integrated into your email campaigns if you wish to be able to boost the effects of both.

Remind contacts not to print your email

Unfortunately, there are still those who like to print out their emails, use them as physical to-do lists and then dump them in the bin eventually. Your emails messages should contain a friendly reminder to not print out the emails. That will surely make at least some people reconsider their habit of printing everything out. It’s even better if the reminder is printed in green.

Sharing

It might be a good idea to include some eco-friendly quotes and/or links to your favorite eco-friendly charities. That will put people in the green mood and raise awareness about the environment. Adding some text or a graphic about eco-friendly charities to your email signature will surely show that your company is concerned about the well-being of our planet.

The fact that your email marketing campaign is green in its nature is fantastic, but there is more you can do to make it even greener and more eco-friendly, without jeopardizing the main aim of your campaign – keeping customers in the loop when it comes to your offer. Your task is to find methods to make email marketing campaigns for your green business even more efficient. If you manage to do that, you’ll be able to achieve your business goals and promote sustainable and eco-friendly behaviour.
