Manufacturers of corrugated cardboard say that they are sorely lacking in recycled raw materials. They cannot buy enough waste paper because there is a shortage of cardboard waste. They want to buy used cardboard boxes, for example, but they can’t do it quickly. The material they produce is known to have commercial potential.

It has many properties necessary for the storage and transportation of goods without any losses. At the same time, corrugated cardboard is an environmentally friendly product when compared with other types of packaging. Why do manufacturers of this material experience problem associated with a shortage of waste paper?

The reason for the shortage should be considered the development of the industry, which is engaged in processing. In addition, the situation was influenced by the fact that more and more often they began to use recycled waste paper in the production of paper. Because it turns out to reduces the price of finished products.

After all, primary raw materials obtained from wood are becoming more and more expensive, which is caused by the reduction in the volume of natural resources on the planet. In addition, the waste paper collection system is not working at full capacity. Not all enterprises that are faced with its formation know how to send it for processing. As a result, manufacturers of the same corrugated cardboard, which is also produced today using recycled waste paper, are experiencing a shortage of secondary raw materials.

Production Of Corrugated Cardboard Products – Prospects

The production of corrugated cardboard products is one of the promising areas of the paper industry. The market for such products is growing rapidly. Because one of the reasons was the ability to effectively solve environmental problems through recyclable waste paper. Corrugated cardboard today is often made using recycled materials.

And since such raw materials are not enough, accordingly, problems arise that hinder the development of the entire corrugated cardboard industry. Manufacturers of such a product cannot use all available production capacities to their full potential. Some enterprises are forced to reduce the volume of their products, which negatively affects the profitability of the respective business.

In order for the production of corrugated cardboard to develop, it is necessary to take measures to address the issues of collection of waste paper. In this case, we are talking about used cardboard packaging. Many retailers accumulate huge amounts of this waste. But since businesses have no idea where to ship it all, new board manufacturers can’t get what’s piling up from retailers.

Despite the fact that it is very difficult to buy old books and other types of waste paper, there are still options to support manufacturers of cardboard products. Today in the waste paper market there are brokers who work on a global scale. They find sources of secondary raw materials and buy waste paper in bulk volumes.

Then they find ways to market, namely those who are interested in the supply of such a product. These brokers also work at the regional, and local levels, thereby helping nearby enterprises to cooperate with them. But more important is the global nature of the activity. Because companies interested in buying waste paper from absolutely all countries can turn to such brokers.
